The lake is still
frozen and snow covers my gardens, but the chives in this
little herb garden are green and growing! This herb garden
spends its winters on my deck. How exciting it was to see
some growing green this afternoon! With all my heart I encourage
you to make one of these this summer. In just a few days I'll
have chives to add to my salads! Look very, very closely and
you will see some green. Did I take a little taste this afternoon?
You bet!

This little herb garden
has been churning out the chives all summer long. What a reliable producer
this is!

"The
great thing about Donna's brochures is that they take the reader
from ground zero through advanced construction techniques in a logical
sequence, each level building upon the previous one. Starting with
simple projects and building upon those successes is the best way
to learn any technique. For folks just starting out (or even folks
interested in her advanced project information), that is the best
way to learn the art of making hypertufa. Too many times, beginners
will request instructions for projects that assume a certain level
of expertise, and then do not end up with the successsful results
they envisioned...very discouraging! Best of all, these brochures
give one a printed, hard copy of information all in one package
for future reference without having to compile information from
dozens of sources and links online to form a harum-scarum compendium
somewhere on their hard drive. All the information needed is together
at one's fingertips."
